EHS & ECA is a county-wide Special and Alternative Education Program designed to serve both classified and non-classified, at risk students seeking an alternative to the traditional educational program. The Essex Regional Educational Services Commission established Essex High School in 1996.
Potential students may be in danger of not graduating with their class, chronic discipline problems, adjudicated, self-abusive or drug involved. Both junior high school and high school age students can enroll. Students have a variety of classifications, and the school will consider all.
