Request for Qualifications

Notice is hereby given that the Essex Regional Educational Services Commission (ERESC) will receive Qualifications on Wednesday May 3, 2023, 2023 at 11:00 am at ERESC Central Office, 333 Fairfield Road, Fairfield New Jersey, 07004 for the following professional services:

 

· GENERAL COUNCIL SERVICES

Qualifications are being solicited through a Fair and Open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et seq, and the Essex Regional Educational Services Commission Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) may be obtained at the Essex Regional Educational Services Commission of 333 Fairfield Road, Fairfield, NJ 07004, Attn: Michael Steinmetz, QPA, between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. Monday through Friday or on the ERESC website located at eresc.org/bidspecs. Qualification submissions may be mailed upon request by calling the Purchasing Agent’s office (973) 405-6262 ext. 253. All questions regarding the RFQ must be made in writing and directed to the Purchasing Agent. Questions may be faxed to (973) 405-6565. Submissions must be made in the form required by the specifications and one (1) original and one (1) CD copy must be delivered to reach the Qualified Purchasing Agent prior to the time for the receipt of Qualification(s). All information requested in the Request for Qualifications must be provided or the submission may be disqualified. Submissions must be sealed and plainly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope to the services for which the Qualification is submitted.

Please submit sealed request for qualifications by mail or hand delivery no later than 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Envelopes should be clearly marked with title, name and address of party submitting, addressed to the Essex Regional Educational Services Commission, at the address mentioned above.

The ERESC reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any informality in the RFQ process, and to accept any submissions which, in their judgment, are most advantageous, price and other factors considered, and will best serve the interest of the ERESC.

​

 

All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-3 et seq. Affirmative Action, P.L. 1975 c. 127 N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. (Contract Compliance and Equal Employment Opportunities in Public Contracts), and N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (Disclosure of Ownership).

Unless otherwise provided in any supplement to these instructions, no contractor shall modify, withdraw or cancel the qualification or any part thereof for sixty (60) days after the time designated for the receipt of Proposals in the advertisement.
